chapter three
Sustainability strategy
Shaping
a better tomorrow
12 RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTION & CONSUMPTION We focus on the entire life cycle of our load carriers. Our objectives include sustainable sourcing maximizing the circular use of our load carriers by customers and partners, extending product lifespans, and ensuring high quality end-of-life processing.
13 CLIMATE ACTION We aim to minimize carbon emissions of our customers and partners through the use of our load carriers. We are also committed to reducing the environmental footprint of our logistics operations and depots. By 2030, our targets include a 30% reduction in our Scope 3 footprint per unit and achieving at least 58 kilotons of CO2 reduction annually for our customers.
17 PARTNERSHIPS IN ACHIEVING OUR GOALS Collaboration is essential for reaching our sustainability targets. We partner with customers, retailers, load carrier manufacturers, logistics service providers, and depots to drive progress across the supply chain.
Our approach
Achieving our sustainability goals involves the entire Faber Group. Since 2021, we have integrated the sustainability programme at all levels, launching projects at Group level and empowering each division to define its own sustainability action plan. A dedicated Sustainability Team, including a Group Sustainability Manager and Divisional Sustainability Managers, translates strategy into actionable projects and fosters a culture of sustainability throughout the organization.
Governance and progress monitoring are anchored at the Board level, with sustainability formally embedded in both Group and Divisional Board agendas to ensure ongoing structural integration and accountability.
The Plateau programme encompasses labour, social, environmental (office related) and ethical considerations, supported by specific policies, KPIs and projects. The Peak programme is dedicated to enhancing our environmental impact and making significant progress towards Sustainable Development Goals 12 (responsible consumption and production), 13 (climate action) and 17 (partnerships).
We actively participate in the Ecovadis sustainability rating, maintaining a Platinum rating with 86/100 points in 2025. This achievement places Faber Group in the top 1% of our industry for five consecutive years and serves as the foundation for our sustainability ambitions, represented as the ‘plateau’ in our model.
In addition, Faber Group is dedicated to industry-leading initiatives including the UN Global Compact, Lean & Green Logistics, ISO14001 and PEFC/FSC certification schemes. We are committed to continuous improvement and external validation of our sustainability performance.
Sustainability is fundamental to Faber Group’s business operations and values. Our comprehensive sustainability strategy addresses all ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) issues and is structured around the Peak and Plateau programmes.
